  • Selection Sunday will take place on March 13th
  • The First Four games will play on March 15th and 16th

Who Will Make the First Four?

The First Four games are played between the four lowest-seeded teams (automatic) and the four lowest at-large teams. There is no way of telling the four lowest-seeded at-large teams until after Selection Sunday. However, with the buzz and people’s opinions, it would not be surprising to see teams Northern Kentucky, Bryant, Nicholls or Alcorn State.

Betting on the First Four

If you are looking to bet on the teams that will fill up the First Four fixtures, then it is important you consider statistics and understand how the NIT works. You can even bet on the entire brackets for March Madness and stand a chance to win big.

Women NCAA Tournament to Include First Four

The Women NCAA March Madness will include the First Four games for the first time. This means that the total number of teams playing the tournament will be 68, different from the previous editions that were 64. The selection process will be the same as with the men’s division, and you can also bet on it.

Gonzaga in 1st Seed and Ready for the First Round

Gonzaga has been in terrific form this season. While the selected teams won’t be announced until Selection Sunday, Gonzaga is in the No 1 seeds after winning West Coast Conference tournament on Tuesday. They will be playing one of the first four qualifiers teams in the first round that will take place on March 17th and 18th.

Besides Gonzaga, several other teams have performed well enough and will get top seeds. We will likely see teams like Kansas, Arizona and Baylor on the top seed line of the bracket. The likes of Auburn and Kentucky will probably be in the second seed line.

  • 12 teams have already been seeded till this moment
  • Virginia Tech is still on the bubble

Some teams are still on the bubble and may either make it as the last four ins or the first four outs. Virginia Tech is currently ranked 33rd on NET, with Indiana ranked 41st. Anything can happen on Selection Sunday, and some teams on the bubble might just make it in.
