These days it’s harder to see a big win at the Bernabéu than to see Eden Hazard arrive first at training. They’ve made no new signings while Bale and James have packed their bags for the beloved Premier League. Have the goals dried up at Madrid? If there is a team that knows how to defend in La Liga, it is Getafe. Atlético FORCED TO WIN!

Capital letters and an exclamation point… you know we’re serious about this. After three games, Atleti have won one and played two goalless draws. When your team boasts the €120 million Joao Feliex, as well as Diego Costa and Luis Suarez, it’s all a little odd. They are enduring a dry spell which has to end at some point. Sorry Celta Vigo, you might be at the wrong end of a goal surge. We do not know who will score in Balaídos, what we do know is that Atlético have to win!

Betis v Real Sociedad: The duel of the surprise packages!

After five weeks of La Liga, we’re all a little surprised that Real Betis and Sociedad are in second and third place respectively. Sure we’ve only just begun but a win in this game is more than just three points. You get the sense that the winner here can end up being the league’s surprise package. Predicting who will win is harder to predict than the team that won the Premier League in 2016 (yes, we’re still in love with that Leicester side.) Their last outings saw both teams score three so were hoping for goals galore here!
