Chelsea are playing some great football under Tuchel and are expected to give a tough fight to the opposition. 

Rudiger and Mateo Kovacic is the only injured player in the Chelsea squad. Tuchel after the brief and resultless Lampard-era has managed to lift the team up and the high-profile signings are slowly making their names in this Chelsea squad. Olivier Giroud has been in terrific touch going into this game. He has netted six goals in this champions league so far. Timo Werner has also managed to contribute to five goals which include three goals and two assists. Kai Havertz, Hudson Odoi and Thiago Silva all hold the aces for a Chelsea win against the Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Real Madrid qualified as the number one team from Group B with 10 points from six games played. They were slow to get off the blocks in this year’s Champions League but in the knockout stages have been quite prolific and seem to have found the mojo back. They won against Italians Atalanta in the pre-quarters beating them 4-1 on aggregate. In the Quarterfinal, they played against English giants Liverpool and thrashed them on aggregate 3-1 to reach the semi-final. The first leg resulted in a stalemate which is an advantage to Chelsea but Real Madrid could well and truly turn this around. Zidane now has a chance to add to his Champions League trophy collection with another one this year.

Carvajal and Ramos will probably miss the next game owing to physical discomfort while the likes of Federico Valverde, Ferland Mendy and Lucas Vazquez are all set to miss the next match due to injuries. Zidane has a task cut out in terms of team selection with injuries to key players and will probably have to select from the rest of the squad. Karim Benzema has shown in this season what he is capable of and with V.Junior and the mid-field trio of Kroos, Casemiro and Modric have formed a solid combo. Ramos missing out may be a major blow, but Real Madrid still have an enviable defence at their disposal.

Chelsea can turn up as they did in the first leg and win with the away goal advantage they earned from Madrid last week, but Real Madrid have started to play like the Real Madrid we have known over the years and look threatening enough to win another European title.
