Arsenal will enter the contest against Liverpool hoping to recover from a loss against West Ham in their previous fixture.

Despite being placed ahead of the likes of Manchester United, Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal have only managed to win two out of the last five league matches which would be a cause of concern for the hierarchy going forward.

Therefore, manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping that the international break would prove to help recover from the defeat against the Hammers.

Arsenal have received a major boost as star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubaemyang is likely to take part in an important fixture.

It was earlier feared that he might miss the contest after suffering a knock while representing his country in the recently concluded international break.
