Inter Milan will face Napoli in the match week 13 of the Italian Serie A 2021-22 season at the Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday.

Their task is not going to be an easy one as they are not only facing one of the most in-form teams in the competition but they will be without the likes of star centre-back Stefan de Vrij and creative midfielder Christian Eriksen.

After remaining one of the two unbeaten teams in the competition, Napoli will enter the contest against Inter Milan in high confidence.

Gli Azzurri are coming in the match after securing a 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona and manager Luciano Spalletti will be hoping to see the players produce a much better display in the next match.

In terms of injury updates, the only major absentee for the team will be veteran defender Konstantinos Manolas who is almost certain to not take part in the match.

The focus will be on winger Hirving Lozano who is once again having a hard time securing his spot in the starting XI.

With the January transfer window less than 45 days away, it will be interesting to see whether Lozano will be able to cement his place in the starting lineup or will he move elsewhere to find first-team football.

On paper and as per the form shown in the league this season, Napoli look a stronger unit, especially while playing at home, compared to Inter who are struggling with some injury issues as well.
