Hold on to your hats, England are set to win Euro 2020 on pens!

Well, would you believe it? England are set to win Euro 2020… and on penalties of all things. 

“Gareth Southgate, the whole of England is with you” – famous commentary from Euro 96 as he missed the crucial semi final penalty… but it seems like redemption is at last here for the Three Lions as our super computer predicts them to win Euro 2020 on penalties! 

We ran a supercomputer study, in which the Euro 2020 tournament was simulated. The outcome was conclusive – England will win the final against Spain…on penalties!

In three separate simulations, Gareth Southgate’s side were victorious over La Roja, who were seeking their fourth European Championship win. The scoreline was pretty conclusive too – with England winning 4-2 on all three occasions.

Imagine that, Harry Kane steps up to coolly slot home the tournament winning penalty. It would cause mass pandemonium… and we can’t wait for that to happen! Kane is also tipped  to win the Euro 2020 Golden Boot.
