Sharing Insights: Casumo Ambassadors Part I – Pierre

Meet Pierre and take a peek into the World of Casumo

In this mini-blog-series we’ll be meeting the real people that keep the wheels turning at Casumo. This week, we bumped into Pierre from our Ambassadors team. Read on to discover his favourite snack and the weirdest thing someone wrote to him.

Driving the giant hamster wheel of our company, you’ll find the Casumo Ambassadors, a team of truly dedicated superheroes, committed to providing a top notch level of customer support.

They are the guys n’ gals answering all of our players’ questions and queries, and they do so around the clock! Via live chat, email and social media, they’re handling thousands of conversations each month in English, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish and German.

But despite the large quantity of chats, our Ambassadors still manage to maintain an extremely high and fast level of service. Pretty impressive, hey? We thought so too. Which is why we thought of asking them about their experiences, to give them their moment in the spotlight, simply because they deserve it.

Say ‘Hey’ to Pierre

Our customer support could be labelled as ‘one stop shop’, where any kind of enquiry is dealt with in a respectful, professional and customized way, hoping to make our players’ day just that tiny bit better. They will be dealing with the same professional Ambassador regardless of the question or query they might have. And one of these fine professionals is Pierre.

Look, there he is, let me grab him before he’s off solving an issue.

Me: “Hey Pierre! You mind if we ask you a couple of questions?”

Pierre: “Nope, by all means, fire away!”

Me: “Alright, here goes. What’s your favourite snack from the Odditorium (this is what we call our in-house cafeteria)?”

Pierre: “Caaaake!”

Alright-y, loud and clear.

Me: “Can you please share the best compliment ever received by your teammates?”

Pierre: “You have a calming aura about you, which makes everything around us slow down so that we can be relaxed.”

Me: “And how about the strangest thing someone has ever written to you?”

Pierre: “I had a chat with a player once where we talked about Narwhals being the inventors of shish-kebab. The player told me that the owner of the kebab shop around the corner had been lying to him. We ended up singing ‘You’ve got a friend in me’ from Toy Story.”

…and the Award for Oddest Conversation 2019 goes to….!

Me: “What’s the best thing about your job?”

Pierre: “The people I work with and the office. It’s an amazing experience to work in the Unicorn Centre (this is how we refer to our Maltese headquarters), especially with the big variety of areas that have different vibes from “jungly” to “Command Centre” to the cozy cafeteria with pool and ping-pong tables.”

That’s not an exaggeration. We do have a pretty extraordinary office environment.

Me: “Do you play casino games and if so, what’s your favourite game and why?”

Pierre: “I do, my favourite game has always been Jack and the Beanstalk. There has definitely been some other contenders and I’ve probably played other games way more, but I always go back to good ‘ol Jack and the Beanstalk. Having 3-4 full reels of Walking Wilds was what got me to love this game.”

Me: “Any weird routines to keep you alert that we should know about?”

Pierre: “Not much for routines, I just kind of wing it. I guess you could say that ‘winging it’ is my routine.”

Sure, that makes total sense.
